Canterbury Link College is a signatory to the code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. It recognises that it has a responsibility to take great care of its students while they are with us - to see that they are safe, informed, treated with respect, and enjoy their time here.

To ensure that we do this we have a multicultural staff with speakers of a number of languages on site. This means that we can get you speakers in your own language if you are having problems with your study or your personal life.

Rhonda is the designated Pastoral Care Officer. She is very approachable and offers help in a caring and confidential manner. Past students consistently praise her work in the exit surveys we conduct. She will assist you with problems you might have about immigration, getting a work visa, talking to a tutor, personal issues and relationships, or anything that is concerning you about the college or living in New Zealand.

We believe that it is the work of the Pastoral Care Officer and the friendly helpful approach of all the staff that puts Canterbury Link College among the best schools for looking after its students.
