Care and Accommodation
Living in a Homestay |
|
Your Homestay Co-Ordinator at Canterbury Link College will find suitable Homestay carers that meet all the requirements of the Ministry of Education Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students and the needs of the individual student. We have a team of Homestay caregivers who have proven to be very caring and helpful to our students. |

Students aged over 18 years |
|
When students first enter the country, they are strongly encouraged to stay in homestay accommodation for the first three months. This will help them with learning day to day English and New Zealand customs. However, students may choose the accommodation which they prefer, as long as the style of accommodation does not adversely affect their academic studies. |
